Murn(e)full, Mornfull, Mournful, a. [e.m.E. mourn(e)full (1542).] Full of, or causing, sorrow or grief; sad, sorrowful; doleful, dismal. Also comb. in mournful-like. —(a) c1590 Fowler I. 82/152.
