Miscount, v. [e.m.E. miscount, ME. misconte(n (Gower): cf. OF. mesconter.] In passive, and fig.: = To have miscalculated, to be disappointed, to be ‘deceived’ or ‘cheated’. (Cf. Miscompt v.). — 1639 Baillie I. 198.
