Mellifluat, a. Also: -ate, mellefluat. [Only Sc.; f. as Mellifluus a.] Flowing with honey, honeyed, mellifluous. Only in verse, in lit. and, chiefly, fig. use.(1) a1500 Henr. Fab. 602 (Bann.).
