Makin(g, Macking, vbl. n. Also: makk-, mac- and -yng(e, -ying, -e(i)ng, -ieng, -yn(e, -en(e, -eyn, (makand, -ynd); maiking, -eing, maickinge. [ME. making, OE. macung.] 1. The action of making, in various senses of Mak v.1(1) c1450-2 Howlat 928.
