Lawit, Lawid, Lawd, adj. Also: lawyt, lauit; lawide, -yd(e, lauid; lawde, laud(e. [North. ME. lawed, laud (Cursor M.): cf. Lewit adj. Cf. also Lawic and Layit (and the note to Laic adj.).]
