Kin, n. Also: kin(n)e, kyn(n)(e, ken(e, keine, keyne. [ME. kyn(n, kin(n)e, west. cun, kun, south-east. ken(ne, OE. cynn.]

1. One's relatives or kinsfolk, collectively.Freq. coupled with words of similar meaning, as allya, anherdance, frend, etc., q.v. for some further examples.(1) 1375 Barb. ii. 112.
