Implement, n. [L. implēmentum, f. implēre v., to fill up, to fulfil.The Sc. legal word is taken direct from L., and has no direct connection with e.m.E. and late ME. implements, furnishings, utensils, etc., Anglo-L. implementa id.]
Fulfilment, performance, execution (of a contractual obligation). Only in legal contexts. 1649 Glasgow B. Rec. II. 165.
