Hech, n. Also: het(s)ch; hich, hych. [ME. he(c)ch(e, hetch(e, OE. hec(c, more commonly hæc(c, Hach n.] Plur. The hatches (of a ship). (Found only in Douglas, sometimes rendering L. transtra.) — 1513 Doug. i. iii. 18.
