Habitatioun, -acioun, n. Also: habitatiown, -yowne, -ion, habit-, habytacion. [ME. habitacion, -ioun (Chaucer), F. habitation, L. habitātio.] Residence, abode; a place of abode, a dwelling-place. Freq. in to mak habitatioun.(1) a1400 Leg. S. xxxvi. 276.
