Gudely, Gudly, Guidly, adv. Also: gudelie, -li, gud-, guidlye, -lie, -li, gwd(e)-, gwidlie, goodly, -lie. [Northern ME. gudely (14th c.), midl. and south. good(e)ly, godely, godly, early gud-, godliche (c 1205).]
