Graithly, Grathly, adv. Also: graithlie, -lye; grathlie; graythlie. [Northern ME. graythely (14th c.), graitli (a 1300), ON. greiðliga. Common in mod. north. Engl. dial. as gradely. In Sc. rare except in verse.] a. Well, properly, successfully. b. Carefully, attentively. c. Clearly, distinctly. d. Readily, promptly.a. 1375 Barb. x. 205.
