Ebdomadare, n. Also: -idar, -itar. [ME. ebdomadary (a 1450), -edary, med. L. hebdomadarius.] A member of a college or chapter taking a weekly turn in performing the services in the church. 1491 Cart. S. Nich. Aberd. 255.
