Disparit, Dispairit, p.p. Also: dyspa(y)ryd, -id, disparyd(e, -yt, -ed; dispaird. [ME. dispayred (14th c.), -peirid, etc., variants of despeyred, f. despeyre, dispayre, Dispare v.1] Deprived or devoid of hope; despairing; in a state of despair or desperation.(a) 1375 Barb. iii. 195.
