Court baroun, n. [e.m.E. (1542) and AF. court baron, early AF. court de baroun. Cf. Baroun court.] A court held by a baron or his steward, having jurisdiction in civil actions arising within the barony.Not in ordinary Sc. use even after the (English) Act of 1653, the usual terms being baron court or court of the barony. 14..
