Catale, Catall, Catell, n. Also: cattale (katt-), cat(t)ail(l, caittaile; catal (kat-), catalle; catele, cateill; cattell (katt-, kat-), caitell, cattill. [ME. catal(e, catall(e, catayle, -ayll, occasional variants of the usual catell(e, catel, ONF. catel (OF. chatel).]
