Bewté, Beuté, Beauté, n. Also: bewtie, -ty(e; beutee, -tie, -tye; beautee, beawte, -tie, -tye; beaulte. Also rare variants: bouté, bowté. [ME. bewté, beuté, beauté, bealté, etc., OF. beauté, bealté, f. bel beautiful.
