Belly-flaucht, a. Also: bely-, belli(e)-; -flawcht, -flaught. [Corresp. to mod. Icel. belg-fláttur (for ON. *-flaht-r). Cf. Norw. dial. belgfletta v., flaat n. a flayed skin.] With the skin pulled off entire over the head. a1400 Leg. S. ix. 316.
