Avowar, Avower, n. [f. Avow v.2 Cf. e.m.E. avower (17th c.).] One who avows. —1581 Reg. Privy C. III. 421 (he wes the avower of the saidis personis to the said warden). 1584 Acts III. 295/2 (authoris and avowaris of that wikit deid).
