Alwise, Alwyse, adv. Also: alwys, alwyis(e, alvyis, awyis; aluyse, aluise. [ME. alwise, alwyse (15th c.), f. All a. and Wise sb., but in Sc. chiefly used as a synonym of Alwayis.]
