Affectioun, n. Also: affeccioun(e, affectioune, -yowne; affeccione, affectione, -yone, affecsion, afection. Cf. Effectioun n. [Early ME. affectiun (13th c.), later affectioun, affeccion, etc., OF. affection, L. affectiōn-, affectio.] Affection, in various senses.
