Ȝetling, Yetling, n. and adj. Also: ȝetling(e, -lyn(g, ȝettling, yettling, yetlin(e, -lyn(e, ȝeatling, (ȝetin). [North. ME and north. e.m.E. yetling (1378-9), ȝetlynge (1472), yetlyng (1495-6), yaitling (1551); Ȝet(t v. Also in the later dial.]
