YAMAL, n. Also yamil, yammal, -el; yamalt (Ork.), yammald, jamald (Jak.). One born in the same year as another, a contemporary (Ork. 1845 Stat. Acc.2 XV. 96; Sh. 1866 Edm. Gl., 1908 Jak. (1928), I.Sc. 1974); in Sh. also a twin (Ib.). Phrs. to be yammals wi, to be of the same age as (Ork. 1905 E.D.D., Ork. 1974). [′jɑməl(t)]Ork. 1908 Old-Lore Misc. I. viii. 319:
