STROINT, n. Also stront (Jak.) and dim. forms stro(i)nti (Id.). [′strɔint(i)]

1. A pipe, tube, spout, of a vessel, etc. (Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928)). Comb. stroint-pipe, the mouth of a drain, an effluent pipe (Sh. 1971).

2. Fig. A tight-fitting, narrow garment (Sh. 1866 Edm. Gl., 1908 Jak. (1928)).
