RUNNET, n. Also ronnet. Sc. forms of Eng. rennet. Comb. ronnet-bag, the stomach of a calf from which rennet is made.Abd. c.1760 Trans. Highl. Soc. XIV. 88:
Put in as much boiling water as will make it warm enough to receive the runnet, then cover it with a clean cloth till the whey come above the curd.
