NAT, n. Also nyatt (Gregor). A smallsized, sharp-tempered person (Bnff. 1866 Gregor D. Bnff. 119; Uls. 1903 E.D.D., Sh., Abd. 1963). Cf. Natter, n., 2. Dim. natti, a cross-tempered, malicious or pert fellow (Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928)).
