I. n. Crumbly, rotten, decayed material (Cai. 1963).Cai. 1949:
The hey's geen a' tae moosh.

II. adj. Crumbly, mouldy (Cai. 1963).

III. v. To crumble away, through mould or decay (Cai. 1963).Cai. 1957:
Said of hay not keeping — it mooshed.
