¶KNACKDAGGEREL, n. A dirty, matted tuft or clump of hair.Per. 1953:
I saw the dug an' said, “Ye canna show yon beast wi' a' thae knackdaggerels on it,” and he gruppit his shears an' clippit aff the matted hair an' trimmed its lugs.
