EGGLE, v. Also iggle (Mry. 1919 T.S.D.C. III.; Mry.1 1925). To incite, egg on, stir up, to quarrel (Ork. 1929 Marw.; Ork.2 1948); “commonly applied to what is evil” (Bnff. 1866 Gregor D.
