2. adj. Large, great (Sh. 1866 Edm. Gl.).

[Variant of Darg, n.2; for similar vowel change cf. Sh. dwarg, haste, from Norw. dial. dorg, a run, speed, and Sh. dwaver, to doze, from Dover.]
