1. A soft, crumbly peat of inferior quality (Abd.15 1882; Abd.4 1929).Abd.6 1926:
I saw a larry load o' peats gyaan the Turra wan the day. Gey dufftins they war, bit onything'll dee this strike-time, A'm thinkin'.
