CHOISE, Choice, Choys, v. Also chise, chyse.  Sc. forms of Eng. choose. (Known to Mry.1 1925 and Bnff.2 1940 (chyse), Abd.2, Abd.9 (chise), Slg.3,  Edb.1 1939 (chyse); ne.Sc., em.Sc. 1975).
