BROWL, n. Gen. used in pl. [brʌul]

1. A dry piece of wood gathered for burning (w.Abd. 1914 T.S.D.C. I.; Slg.2 1914).Abd.(D) 1922 J. Wight in Mair Swatches o' Hamespun 67:
She kennel't a curn birsled browls.

2. A little piece of anything (Abd. 1914 T.S.D.C. I.).
