BEEN-PLOUGH, n. (See quot.) [′bin-pløu]Ork. 1929 Marw.:
Been-plough, a person giving help with ploughing. This word is also obsolete, and I was unable to discover whether the help given was voluntary or by way of “service” like “been-hook.”
