TUSHILAGO, n. Also tushalagy (Sc. 1911 S.D.D.; Fif. 1946); tushylucky (Dmf. 1869 Science Gossip 28); tashalago (Ork. 1953); thisalaga (Bnff. 1940); tuslag (Sh. 1962 New Shetlander No. 60. 17). Sc. forms of the plant-name Tussilago, coltsfoot (Sc. 1778 A. Wight Present State Husbandry II. 232, Ags. 1924 J. M. Smith Nettles 7).
