1. Moist, damp, specif. of meal made from oats which have not been properly kiln-dried. Lnk. 1825 ,
I dinna like thain meal.

2. Of meat: not sufficiently cooked, raw (Sc. 1782 J. Sinclair Ob. Sc. Dial. 109, 1787 J. Elphinston Propriety II. 191, 1808 Jam.).
