STÖRIE, n. Also støri (Jak.), -staurie. One of the bands of rope of which a straw-basket is made (Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928)). See also Gurdastörie.Sh. 1964 Folk Life II. 13:
In finishing off the border [of a maishie], a third strand of coir yarn, called the aboot-gaan-störie, was added by hand.
