FUDE, n. In phr. to make fude fast, ? to settle, come to a firm agreement about, ratify, make (a contract, etc.) binding.Lnk. a.1779 D. Graham Writings (1883) II. 56:
An' come ye the morn, we'll make it [a wedding agreement] fude fast in a wee time.
