I got to the top of the class . . . by spelling butterclabber.

[The authenticity of the word is doubtful and it may be a jocular formation chosen for its spelling, but poss. suggested by butter-clapper s.v. Butter, II. 10., or by Anglo-Irish bonnyclabber, thick curdled milk.]
