SKYUED, adj. Of a mixed, indeterminate colour, as of cloth in which the colours have run, or of a thundery sky (Ork. 1929 Marw.). [skjød] .

[Prob. the same word as †Eng. dial. skewed, of a horse: of a motley or spotted colour, of uncertain orig. Cf. skew-bald, id.]
