REMAINDER, n. Also Sc. form remmander.

Sc. usages: a remnant of cloth at the end of a bale. Comb. remainder sale, a sale of such remnants at reduced rates. Gen.Sc. [Ork., ne.Sc. ′rɛmənder]Abd. 1914 J. Leatham Daavit 69:
My dear good old mother bocht a remmander fae Johnnie Hitcheon, and took it an' me ti Saunders ti be mizhur't.
