RALLY, adj. Noisy, quarrelsome, disputatious, as one in drink.Wgt. 1708 Session Rec. Kirkinner MS. (16 May):
James Walker . . . deponed . . . that the said Alexander Gullen was something rally, though he could not say he was drunk, that he does not remember that he threatened to kick William McHaffie with his foot.
