¶PLETSHACH, n. A drink made of hot water and oatmeal, seasoned with sugar, pepper or the like (Per.1 1922).
[The form is somewhat dubious. The word has the same meaning as plottie s.v. Plot, and should phs. be plotshach. Cf. also Gael. plodag, warm gruel, from the same orig.]You may wish to vary the format shown below depending on the citation style used.
