OUTLABOUR, v. To crop land beyond a certain defined or appropriate limit. See Labour, v.Kcd. 1766 Session Papers, Petition M. Lumsden (5 March) Proof 3:
By the Word outlabouring, the Deponent means whatever is laboured and sown with Corn above five of the ten Casts into which the Outfields should be casten, but some Gentlemen force their Tenants to have six Parts of the ten always ley, and the other four only in Corn.
