MUMPILEESE, v.? To appropriate to one's own ends. Nonce.Ayr. 1822 Galt Provost xliii.:
In a' stations of life there are persons who would mumpileese the retinue of the King and government for their own behoof and eeteration.

[A distorted form of monopolise, phs. due to the stress accent being on the last syllable with consequent reduction of the unstressed syllables and assimilation of n to m before p.]
