KEESSAR, n. Also keicer. A large uncomely person, usually female (Bnff. 1866 Gregor D. Bnff. 94). Also applied to animals. [′kisər]Abd. 1880 G. Webster Crim. Officer 95:
Though he saw the muckle keicer o' a wife comin' alang he never jee't 's ginger.
Abd.7 1925:
“A muckle strong keessar”: used of a young person, gen. a girl, who is big and strong.
Abd.2 1942:
Did ye ever see sic a keessar o' a coo as auld Hosie bocht?
