ILL-DESIGNED, adj. Evilly disposed, mischievously-minded (Sh., ne.Sc., m.Lth. 1958). Also compar. waur-design'd.Rnf. 1824 D. Webster Rhymes (1835) 8:
Some amang ye waur design'd, Say that she's carnally inclin'd.
Per. 1891 H. Haliburton Ochil Idylls 133:
It wasna that the folk were kind, Baith laird an' tenant, herd an' hind, An' no' a cratur' ill-design'd.
