FYANTICH, adj. Also fyowntich (Rs.). [′fjɑntɪç, ′fjʌun-]

1. In fair health, esp. of one convalescing (Bnff. 1866 Gregor D. Bnff. 57; Bnff.6 1920).

2. Fairly high, of the tide (Rs. 1916 T.S.D.C. II.).

3. Excited, stirred in one's feelings.Abd.7 1925:
A girl or lad in love is said to be fyantich.
