FUNSELESS, FUNCELESS adj. Dry and sapless, as of fodder, wood, etc., without savour or substance (Cai. 1900 E.D.D.; Cai.9 1939); tasteless (Cai.8 1934).

Some gey funceless-lookan' stuff 'ere.
[Orig. doubtful. Hardly a met. form of Fushionless. Phs. a variant of Fendless with fence substituted for fend.]
