DRODGE, v. and n.

1. v. "To do servile work, to drudge" (Lnk. 1825 Jam.2).

2. n. One who is behindhand with work.Per. 1900 E.D.D.:
A "drudge" is always kept working; a "drodge" is always working because she cannot get forward with her work; the word "drodge" implies blame; "drudge" none.
