DOGGIES, n.pl. 1. The yellow toadflax, Linaria vulgaris (Abd. 1886 B. and H. 155).
2. "A child's feet" (Sc. 1911 S.D.D.), phs. from a game played with an infant in which its feet are supposed to be dogs running about. The source has not been traced.
